Alt-rock icons Garbage are officially coming home – announcing their first Australian headline shows since 2016. The beloved four-piece will hit Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney this December, in between their appearances at Good Things Festival 2025, delivering the kind of electric, era-spanning sets that have made them one of the most influential rock bands of the past three decades. Formed in Madison, Wisconsin, and fronted by the incomparable Shirley Manson, Garbage helped shape the sound of the late ’90s and early 2000s with their dark, glamorous fusion of rock, electronica and grunge. From ‘Only Happy When It Rains’ and ‘Stupid…

Related “Miami is going to have a new state-of-the-art venue right here in the heart of Doral,” said Cobo, who was also honored with the key to the Doral Amphitheater. “This is the first…
The restructuring and downsizing of senior management at Warner Music continues, with the major’s recorded music operations in the Benelux region – so Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg – merging with those in the GSA region – so Germany, Switzerland and Austria – to form one super division. That division will use the Warner Music Central Europe name that already applied in GSA, and will be headed up by Niels Walboomers, who previously ran the company’s Benelux business. He’ll now split his time between Amsterdam, Berlin and Hamburg, and presumably quite a few planes or trains, depending on how eco-friendly he’s feeling. Doreen…
Often controversial ticket touting platform Viagogo was in New Zealand’s Court Of Appeal yesterday seeking to overturn a High Court judgement secured against it last year by the country’s Commerce Commission. It argues that High Court judge Mary Peters was wrong to rule that it misled consumers in New Zealand, so that they thought they were buying tickets from official sources when using the resale website. Viagogo lawyer Aaron Lloyd told the appeals court that Peters had been far too swayed by the high number of complaints that had been made against the resale platform by consumers in New Zealand. In the original…

Frank Turner has responded to the break up from his wife last year, saying that he “didn’t set out to inflict pain.” Last September, Turner’s wife Jessica Guise revealed that their marriage was “over”, saying the musician’s “actions on his US tour” were the main reason for the split. Guise, who married Turner in 2019, took to her official Instagram account to share a photo of her and Turner at the time. The caption of the post began with Guise explaining that she had been putting off writing the post as she “didn’t want any of it to be true,…
Florida-based Dream-pop songstress Fiona Maura unveils her brand new single Little Love, a delicate, heartwarming gem inspired by the redwood forest, solo travelling and self-love. What I like the most about this song is its intimate touch and warmth, with Maura’s enchanting vocals effortlessly capturing my attention from start to finish. A heartwarming and soothing storytelling that pairs Fiona Maura’s lovely vocals with a serene acoustic folk production. I am very fond of the delicate acoustic guitar strums that are seamlessly intertwined with steady beats, captivating rhythms and a deep cello layer that together create an ethereal folk sound perfect for…
Many fans are wondering what the Halsey setlist is for their Back to Badlands tour, which debuted in Los Angeles on October 14, 2025. As the name of the tour suggest, the artist will perform numerous songs from their debut “Badlands” album from 2025. While it will include other tracks from their discography, it distinctly does not feature any songs from their 2024 album “The Great Impersonator” due to challenges with their record label. After Halsey finishes their three-night stop in LA, the tour will be heading across North America with stops in Mexico City and Toronto before ending the…
