In an interview with Now Spinning Magazine, the 77-year-old musician spoke about the challenges of singing and playing at his age. “It depends what you do,” he told the outlet. “You can be physically animated, but there’s a degree to which you can only do so much if you’re playing a flute.” However, he then compared the performance requirements of the Rolling Stones frontman, saying: “If you are Mick Jagger and you’re just running around with sort of shout-out vocals,…
Stephen Colbert has praised South Park’s recent parody of Donald Trump, describing it as “an important message of hope”. Season 27 of the show debuted following a period of uncertainty for the show, which saw its premiere date moved back. In the opening episode, the US President was depicted as being in a sexual relationship with Satan, mirroring a storyline involving Saddam Hussein in the 1998 film South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut. The episode also depicted the politician naked, portraying him with a micro penis. Jokes about the President’s manhood occurred throughout the story, which also took shots at parent…

Its dynamic production excels from dreamy, hypnotic verses — with glistening guitars and touches of synths — into more bursting, shoegaze-forward textures of ardor. Cate Hukle’s riveting vocal performance shows alongside, seamlessly alternating between lush intrigue and more upfront emotion as the distortion-heavy “sink into the deep” moments arrive. Capturing the experience of being treated like a monster by society, the track takes particular inspiration from historian Susan Stryker’s essay “My Words to Victor Frankenstein Above the…
