American band The Moss, consisting Tyke James (vocals/guitar), Willie Fowler (drums) and Tyler Harris (guitar), share their brand new single Oasis, the latest single to be taken from their Free Ride EP, out now via S-Curve Records! What instantly caught my attention to this song was how rich and expressive Tyke’s vocals are, radiating raw passion and emotion that effortlessly draw listeners’ attention to their storytelling. Oasis is a song about it’s good to have someone that makes you feel seen; about how some times is good to have someone to talk to. A relatable storytelling that is beautifully conveyed through…

A warming, hypnotic unveiling of jangly guitars and mellow vocals delight on “Ugly Jazz (Out of Faith),” a new track from NYC-based quintet Weird Magazines and their new EP, Out of Faith. Their own original songwriting and production shine, while also being proud to showcase some noted influences; Weird Magazines refers to the single as “our little love letter to bands like The Cure, The Radio Dept, Prefab Sprout, etc.” Their post-punk, indie-rock, and sophisti-pop charms meld seamlessly here, and also on the EP’s other three tracks. The band first caught our ears with the track “Yves Klein Blue” earlier…
