The Buoys have returned with their first new music in over a year – a stand-alone single entitled ‘Bitch’. Gut Health have shared a new single, entitled ‘Beat To Beat’. It is their first officially-released new material since the release of their debut album Stiletto, which was released last October VIA AWAL Recordings. It was self-produced by the band, and was recorded at Newmarket Studio in North Melbourne with engineer Nao Anzai – whose credits include Cash Savage & The Last Drinks, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Floodlights, The Teskey Brothers and Seth Sentry, amongst others. Jem Cassar-Daley has released a new single, entitled ‘Front Left Pocket’. It marks her third release of 2025, following on from ‘Kiss Me Like You’re Leaving’ back in April and ‘Tidal Wave’ in July. Like ‘Tidal Wave’, ‘Front Left Pocket’ was co-written by the the Gumbaynggirr and Bundjalung singer-songwriter with Auckland-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Harry Charles.
