Garbage have said that they’re “unlikely to play many of the cities” on their upcoming US tour “ever again”. The band are set to kick off their ‘Happy Endings’ tour – which will be their last North American headline tour – on September 3, and told fans yesterday (August 20) that they’ve now commenced rehearsals. In a post on Instagram, they wrote: “We haven’t played an extensive headline tour like this one in the States for almost a decade. If the truth be told, it is unlikely we will play many of the cities on this tour ever again.” They…

GrooveGalore Muzik are back with a bang with their unique version of “Is This Love”. The song made famous by Whitesnake never gets old and it sounds super fresh with this reggae version from Paul KasticK and Cen’C Love. What I love most about this song is that it feels natural. It almost sounds as though this track was always meant to be a reggae song but that is likely just proof of the songwriting quality of the original. Paul KasticK and Cen’C Love leave nothing behind in their delivery. They smash it from the get-go and I am eager to discover…
Jack White has fired back at the White House, after they called him a “has-been loser” over his criticism of President Donald Trump. READ MORE: Jack White – ‘No Name’ review: surprise album is maestro’s punkiest outing since White Stripes Earlier this week, White took to Instagram to hit out at the President’s White House redesign, describing his taste as “disgusting” and the slew of gold ornaments and picture frames that now sit in the Oval Office as “vulgar, gold leafed and gaudy”. It came after a photo was released of Trump meeting Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, with White re-sharing it…

Channeling a post-punk and psych-ready rock experimentation, “It’s Called Blood” is a standout track from Seattle-based artist IT SOUND. The lead single and title track from the project’s upcoming LP, out on October 10th via Seahorse Recordings, “It’s Called Blood” enamors with its balancing of dreamily hypnotic entrancement and sturdy rock undercurrents. The release also features a music video, directed by Rockland Bazemore, that’s delectably trippy in its kaleidoscope-like imagery and array of colors. “It’s Called Blood” unveils with enjoyably atmospheric rock intrigue. Murky guitars and faint percussive click-clacking maneuver into a nonchalant vocal feeling, rumbling with hypnotic impact into…
When BigXthaPlug took Billboard out for barbecue in Los Angeles, the rapper — and self-confessed “ribs guy” — opted for the smoked links at Max City BBQ. While sampling those links (and a surprise addition of ribs from the establishment), the Dallas native talked about how solitary confinement during a jail stint helped spark his career. Imprisoned after violating probation, the then-20-year-old was locked up on his son’s 1st birthday. “It took a toll on me,” BigX recalls, “and made me very emotional. So they [jail officials] had to confine me by myself. And in that confinement, I felt like…
