Travis Kelce just gave fans a rare look into his and Taylor Swift‘s love story, sharing a bunch of unseen photos from their recent adventures on Thursday (July 24). In the first of the pictures posted to Kelce’s Instagram, he and his superstar girlfriend pose together at night while on a boat, both of them wearing white and pointing to their matching “Captain” caps. In another adorable snap, he holds up finger guns while Swift shows off a pair of glasses, with the couple seemingly out on a dinner date. Further photos show the athlete and singer on trips with…
Hallwood Media has signed imoliver — dubbed in a press release as the top-streaming “AI music designer” on AI music platform Suno — to a record deal, marking the first time a traditional label has signed an AI music creator to such a deal, it was announced Thursday (July 24). To kick off the deal, imoliver will be releasing “Stone,” a song originally released on Suno, to all streaming services on Aug. 8. To date, the song has more than 3 million streams on Suno, a powerful and controversial platform that can generate songs at the click of a button.…
If only they had an “Ask a Billboard Charts Fan” lifeline. On the season premiere last night (Wednesday, July 23) of ABC’s Who Wants To Be a Millionaire, contestants Drew Carey and Aisha Tyler were cruising along, until they got to a question about the Hot 100. The two stars (who each previously hosted Whose Line Is It Anyway?) had won $16,000 for their charities — La Maida Project and International Rescue Committee, respectively — when they were faced with the following question from host Jimmy Kimmel: “With a whopping 11, which of these singers has more #1 hits on…
Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby lead the cast of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, but the secret star of the film is the soundtrack. Directed by Matt Shakman, the film follows Reed Richards (Pascal), Sue Storm (Kirby), Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they try to protect their retro-futuristic world from being devoured by Galactus (Ralph Ineson). Other cast members include Julia Garner as the Silver Surfer, alongside Sarah Niles, Mark Gatiss, Natasha Lyonne and Paul Walter Hauser. The film is the second reboot of the Fantastic Four and kicks off Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic…
A fantastic, melodic cover of Prince Buster’s “Sit and Wonder” comes via Lonely Gimmick, shining a light on the classic reggae track with a vibrant, enthusiastic spin. Lonely Gimmick, the once-anonymous project of Sam Powell, teams up here with Beth Duggan — whose call-and-response vocals prove magnetic amidst the swaying guitar pulses and brass-y mystique. “Sometimes I sit down and I wonder, do you love me?” the vocalists ask, harmonious and sharp in the ascent to ensuing cinematic-forward brass blaring. Lonely Gimmick’s take on this Jamaican classic represents a continued more experimental, eclectic shift from his earlier releases, which embraced…
Canadian folk-rock artist Ian North shares his brand new single Cliffs of Portugal, a moving new single that blends elegant guitar work with vivid storytelling and a profound sense of longing. Sparked Anchored by North’s time spent on the southwestern tip of Portugal, where he stood at the same vantage point said to have inspired King Henry the Navigator to send his fleet into the unknown, Cliffs of Portugal captures the bittersweet beauty of travel, memory, and facing the horizon after profound loss. The song also resonates with the grief of losing North’s father only months before writing it. I am…

Music copyright laws are evolving, reshaping how artists and creators protect their work in the digital age. These changes balance innovation with fair compensation, reflecting the rhythm of today’s music industry.
New York four-piece Loose Buttons are back with their first new song of 2025, a soaring indie-rock gem called Just A Boy In A Band. Out now via Moon Crawl Records, Just A Boy In A Band is about the endless pursuit of something just beyond reach, embracing the reality of being “just a boy in a band.” From flashy attempts to impress to confronting rejection and self-doubt, the track ultimately celebrates the comfort found in being in “the band.” I am loving Eric Nizgretsky’s smooth, confident vocals which glide nonchalantly over the infectious indie-rock production. Apart from his vocals, what…
