The clip, shared by NBC on Thursday (Oct. 2), features three takes from the trio previewing what’s to come on SNL‘s season premiere on Oct. 4, when Bad Bunny will host and Doja Cat will appear as musical guest. Fineman is among the regulars on the show, though several castmates departed ahead of Season 51. “Hi, I’m Bad Bunny, and I’ll be hosting the season premiere of SNL this week with Doja Cat,” Benito says in…

By Jim Barber For more than 30 years, Canadian alternative rock band Econoline Crush has pushed and prodded the boundaries of popular rock music, infusing their ever-evolving sound with innovative elements of industrial, electronica, alongside incendiary vocal performances and compellingly cinematic lyrical depth from frontman/songwriter/founder Trevor Hurst. Best known for hit songs such as ‘Sparkle and Shine,’ ‘You Don’t Know What It’s Like,’ ‘Wicked,’ ‘Home,’ and ‘Dirty,’ the band went on hiatus for a few years in the early 2000s before reforming to make the Ignite album in 2008. In recent years, even after taking on a very intense, very…
British songstress Yara Toma shares her brand new single Razz My Berries, a sultry Contemporary R&B gem featuring legendary and Grammy Award winner Julian Marley. Razz My Berries blends the sultry vibes of the 1920s and 1930s with a modern twist with Julian Marley’s effortless reggae infused vocals and Yanas’ steamy, shape-shifting vocals soaring effortlessly over the captivating production. The song invites listeners to explore the complexities of love, desire, and nostalgia all wrapped around a production that captured the essence of Black Noir. Apart from their vocals, I am particularly fond of the groovy rhythms and how much soul and…

The lawsuit filed against Nirvana by Spencer Elden who, as a baby, appeared on the cover of the ‘Nevermind’ album, has been dismissed again. This time the judge outright rejects Elden’s argument that the famous album artwork constituted illegal sexual imagery. According to Judge Fernando M Olguin, while baby Elden appears nude in the ‘Nevermind’ image, the nature of the photo isn’t even close to being “within the ambit of “child pornography statute” in the US. When considering Elden’s nudity in the context of relevant legal precedents, the judge adds, “all we are left with is the image of a naked baby…
WA’s own Fool Nelson are on a tear. Off the back of their sold-out debut national tour (and a cross-country sprint with Skegss), the indie-rock trio have unleashed their most urgent single yet, ‘Big Shot’ – and revealed plans for their forthcoming third EP, Bad Dreams. Brimming with blistering riffs, big-hearted lyricism and choruses built for sweaty singalongs, ‘Big Shot’ is a rallying cry to drop the ego and hold close what really matters. Produced and mixed by Andy Lawson (The Buoys, Death by Denim) and mastered by George Georgiadis (Ruby Fields, Hockey Dad), it’s Fool Nelson at their most…

PEPTALK and LUATE deliver a striking statement piece with their new pop release “Rancid”. Born from a poetic letter LUATE penned to the music industry, the track carries a raw honesty that immediately resonates. What began as words on a page evolved into a powerful collaboration, where vulnerability meets resilience in every note. The song captures the emotional spectrum of chasing a dream, the intoxicating high of hope, the crushing reality of uncertainty, and the sobering clarity of knowingly enduring the chaos. It’s a gut punch in melodic form, exposing the toxic cycles artists endure while refusing to let go…
