Linkin Park have revealed the one song they will no longer play live following Chester Bennington‘s death.

The band returned with a new line-up last year with Dead Sara’s Emily Armstrong joining the band as the new singer.

They also released a new album, ‘From Zero’ and they are currently in the middle of a world tour which saw them most recently play the kick-off show for the UEFA Champions League final in Munich and London’s Wembley Stadium.

Now in a new interview with The Guardian, Mike Shinoda revealed that a couple of songs have been cut out of the setlist from the current line-up including the title track for their 2017 album ‘One More Light’, their last with Bennington before his death by suicide.

“[It was originally written] for a woman at the label that we worked with who passed away,” explained Shinoda. Then after Chester passed, the world decided that it was about him. And so that’s just too sad to play.”

Elsewhere, Linkin Park recently shared their latest singles ‘Up From The Bottom’ and ‘Unshatter’ off ‘From Zero’.

They also recently hit Europe and the UK as part of their world tour, including a stop at Wembley Stadium – see all announced tour dates here and purchase here for any remaining shows.

‘From Zero’ was given a three-star review by NME, which described the record as having “an intriguing mix of sensational, knockout stadium rock and some perplexingly tired songwriting”.

“Crucially, ‘From Zero’ must be viewed as a reset, exemplified by its title which pays homage to the band’s former name: Xero,” it read. “Therefore, any inevitable comparisons to their largely masterful discography must bear in mind the place from which ‘From Zero’ was born: an organic desire from Brad Delson, Dave Farrell, Joe Hahn and Shinoda to create together as Linkin Park once more.”

The band recently released a deluxe edition of the LP in May.
