Emerging country-Americana singer-songwriter Natalie Del Carmen shares her brand new single Plans Upon Plans, the latest single from her forthcoming album Pastures, set for release January 30th via Torrez Music Group.

Plans Upon Plans reflects Natalie Del Carmen’s early drive to push forward and carve her own path. The song shows how we tend to make plans for everything: jobs, where we want to be in life at a certain time, etc. However it later shows that the best things in life come without warning, with no plans at all.
Plans Upon Plans blends heartfelt songwriting with a soulful, warm soundscape, layering organ, fiddle, and the soft brush of guitar strings to create a rooted resonance. I am loving her rich, expressive vocals and how they are nicely backed by intricate guitar and banjo plucks, subtle percussive beats, lush fiddle and piano keys that come together to create an overall warm, intimate atmosphere!

The weight of carving your own path is heavy, especially when that path doesn’t always make sense to the people around you. It’s the kind of pressure that’s passed down, the kind you put on yourself, and the kind that makes you want to prove everyone wrong.
