NYC-based artist INDVGO presents a stirring orchestral-laden soulfulness on new single “How Is It Love,” accompanied by a delectably moody music video, directed by Koji. Smooth vocal immersion and sophisticated strings, piano, and rhythms converge with enjoyably cohesive flair, complemented by lyrical themes that ruminate on the chaos inherent in love — from its whirlwind of affections to an eventual quest for inner-peace, which requires a form of self-love. The result is a striking success from INDVGO, full of heart and atmosphere, and with a video whose vignette-based visual appeal is gorgeously interwoven. “‘How Is It Love’ is really about…

Rapt, the moniker of London-based singer and songwriter Jacob Ware, shares his brand new single Ocean Lay Straight, a delicate indie-folk gem! Taken from his upcoming series Not All Is Dark & All Is Never Lost, Ocean Lay Straight is a gentle, reflective meditation on love, loss, and the way pain shapes connection. It’s a song about recognising fragility in ourselves and others and find meaning in having shared that vulnerability, even if the relationship didn’t last. I am also enjoying the touches of melancholia and how smooth and expressive his vocals are, soaring effortlessly over the infectious strings and guitar…

Now, he is very much the star of the show on ‘Ain’t No Damn Way!’, his first-ever album with no original features, one that proves he can stand tall alone. Across the 12 tracks, laid-back snare thrums, fizzing synths…
